Illustration – Traditional
Most of my work is actualized in digital form by way of Adobe Creative Suite or MangaStudio, but I almost always start the piece through traditional means. Good ole' pencil, pens, and paper.
This illustration was commissioned for and used in the second installment in the Bloggrls Series; Sistrsic92. The goal was a black and white, “rough” look; the illustration is “in character”, as if drawn by the novel’s main character, Meg. The characters Meg, Cara, and the illustration rights belong to Ms. Dellasega and Marshall Cavendesh publishing.

“A Pigakeet” – A pig and parakeet hybrid, inspired by the popular animal fusions from the Avatar; The Last Airbender series.
